 Well, in the days of hand-written ledgers, bookkeeping was an important value-added service of CPA firms. Today, computers make it possible for almost anyone to enter daily transactions and maintain their own books.

Accounting, on the other hand (including analyzing the bookkeeper's work, adjusting inventory and depreciation, reconciling payroll, and more) is an area in which we excel.
